For 40 years the Selo Ukrainian Dancers have been putting our heart & soul into engaging audiences with exemplary technique, creative choreography, colourful costumes, and amusing storylines. Our energy & enthusiasm have endeared us to truly become an outstanding Ukrainian dance group and one of Manitoba’s multicultural talents.
Selo Means Village
CITIES ARE MAGICAL, BUT HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A VILLAGE OR SELO?
We don’t quite expect for you to think of our village as the place your baba is from, but we hope it gives a feeling of family, a deep connection to your Ukrainian roots, and you think of us from time to time even after we’ve parted.

Villages are where most people’s cultural roots trace back – they’re full of history. Our Selo lends many opportunities for learning, connecting, & celebrating!
COMMUNITY
In a village, there are no strangers – everybody knows everybody. We like to think of it as one big family, as every face is a familiar one in our Selo.

Villages are passionate places – the people carry a fire in their soul! Our Selo leaves a lasting impression with all those we cross paths.

IT'S PARTY TIME! Join us for a night of live music, a delicious hot lunch, and a special performance by our dancers on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at our zabava! Doors open at 6:30 PM at Anola Community Club.
