Congratulations to the dancers on a spectacular performance of their year-end production ‘From Heart to Hand – Handcrafting a Culture’ (on Sunday, May 26)! Their energy, precision, and beaming smiles certainly brought a lot of joy to all that were in attendance.
The dancers told the wonderful story of how handcrafting in Ukraine is not only a livelihood, but as well a passion with significant meaning that contributes to the rich Ukrainian folklore. Whether it is wood carving, embroidery, ceramics, folk instruments or weaving, the skills are passed down from generation to generation inspiring the celebration of Ukrainian culture.
