Dukh Rizdva: The Spirit of Ukrainian Christmas is a heartfelt story that captures the bittersweet emotions of a Ukrainian family embarking on a new life in Canada just as the Christmas season approaches. Follow the family’s experiences of their first Christmas in Canada — from celebrating familiar traditions to partaking in new Ukrainian-Canadian customs they are brought comfort, joy, and a sense of connection to their homeland as their hearts fill with the spirit of Ukrainian Christmas.
Join us on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Mary’s Academy (550 Wellington Crescent) to share in heartwarming traditions and celebrate the magic of Ukrainian Christmas!
Tickets are $22 reserved seating. Children 5 and under are free on their parent’s lap.
Doors open at 5 PM and the show begins at 6 PM.
Enjoy live musical entertainment by Prairie Fire. Silent Auction and 50/50 will be available. Candy bouquets and flowers will be available for purchase to congratulate your dancer!
