Ukrainian Dinner Theatre

The Selo Ukrainian Dancers, in collaboration with Anola Community Club, hosted their third annual Ukrainian Dinner Theatre on Sunday, November 18.  The event was sold out weeks in advance with guests anticipating a delicious meal, lively entertainment and fabulous prizes … and the evening did not disappoint!  With live Ukrainian music to greet the guests as they arrived, everyone settled in for a delicious meal catered by Olga Bezditny.  The Selo Ukrainian Dancers took to the dance floor performing various dances throughout the evening (Lemko, Volyn, Fishing Dance, Hutzul and Hopak).  Guests even had the opportunity to learn traditional Ukrainian village dances.  Amusing, audience participation games were played, and there were many generous prizes to go around.  Already people are asking when will next year’s Dinner Theatre be!  Stay tuned!!
